Looking for power, the Nationals acquired outfielder Wily Mo Pena from the Red Sox for a player to be named on Friday afternoon.
Entering Friday's action, Pena was hitting .218 with five home runs and 17 RBIs on a part-time basis with Boston.
Last season, however, in Pena's American League debut, he hit .301 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs in 84 games with Boston….
Got out to the stadium last week with the Carneys and saw the vendors hit the jolting notch in the railing in front of our section at least half a dozen times. They won't miss RFK. I will.
