Five-year anniversary today
Sent my first day of work, August 11, 2003: "Like I said on the phone, USAT was a few more steps [removed for job security] than I thought. And there wasn't that many more people to talk to either. And there were no tours. And I didn't know anyone. And they have these miles and miles of hallways that nobody seems to use. It's very odd."

The biggest food surprise for me in the first month was how Sodexho Marriott could be better than it was in NU's cafeteria (a low bar but a nice one to surpass). It still has my respect for that.
