Note to self: Don't mess with a signage company
Explanation from a June message board posting: "Very nice lady working behind the counter told me the owner had a check made out to him from a customer who had a Wachovia account. He went to the bank to cash the check and even though it was on Wachovias paper he was charged a few bucks because he didn't have an account, then refused a refund. He put up the sign several years ago, Wachovia sent a PR guy out with $100 and an apology but the owner refused, says he spent more than that on the sign, so there it sits. Preston Signs is a good shop with good prices, better than all of those quick crappy places. They are local folks who've been in the biz a long time…"

Ive seen this sign too, driving along Rt. 7 and wondered if Ed Brackett had anything to do with it … I guess a lot of people have issues with that bank!
