Pix: Blizzard breakfast

The beginning of the storm late Friday, after a day of prep and waiting. Walked to the Metro to meet a visiting Lindsay, in town just in time.

Where'd the city go?

Venturing out Saturday morning.
blizzard-3

A little more snow than last night.

But not enough to stop the mailman!

And sure not enough to stop Ragtime bartender Al from hiking to work, opening the bar and, post thinking of them on his way home last night, debuting banana-, raspberry- and peppermint-spiked hot chocolates.
blizzard-6

We watched a man push a car up the steep hill. Not smart.
blizzard-7

Snowboarders arrived for brunch and drinks, ski lodge-like.
blizzard-8

So did a snow football team.
blizzard-9

And the blizzard kept going, not nearly done.
