Update: I have briefly given up ground and retreated. With two days of sub-20 temps and a blowing snowstorm, I've closed the glass doors to the sunroom/bedroom. My bed and clothes now live in an icebox, and my blue couch and myself live in warmth. For now. Aiming to retake the bedroom in coming days.

For the first winter in my condo, I didn't have heat. There was a wiring mistake that we didn't fix until spring. Somehow I managed fine despite a typical Chicago winter. I guess all my neighbors overheat.
