Summer madness

Kite tucked around a hydrant. Scene was even more yellow in person.

Effortless! The air today is effortless. Friend Jen and I sat on Ragtime's porch for brunch and watching the Syracuse-Gonzaga game, and most of the time I forgot where I was. Good thing eggs Benedict* found me.

Song of the day: Beatles, It's All Too Much, which I'd never heard prior to this morning. The LSD-penned lyrics are all hope. The guitar stomp is the work to be done with the hope. The horns suggest the work could be successful. Or that's how I'm interpreting today. Onward, week…

It's all too much for me to take
The love that's shining all around here
All the world is birthday cake,
So take a piece but not too much

Sail me on a silver sun, for I know that I'm free
Show me that I'm everywhere, and get me home for tea

*Lesson of the day — eggs Benedict is not named for Benedict Arnold.
