Rocket's red glare

From the beach deck last night, we saw a Minotaur rocket launch from southern Virginia. Cousin Kate's husband Stefan, he of a NASA family, gave us a heads-up during dinner at their place. Back at our house, we queued up the video feed amid other stuff and then followed the final few minutes closely at the bottom of the 11 o'clock hour.
As the countdown hit 10, we took the laptop outside, saw the rocket fire and looked up. Seconds later, we spotted the rocket arc east over the Atlantic. My camera didn't catch much, but it did catch the fire.
