Throwing away fortune cookie fortunes

Clean-up: “You have an unusually magnetic personality.” … “You have an important new business development shaping up.” … “Remember to share good fortune as well as bad with your friends.” … “You will be a great success both in the business world and society.” … “You do not have to worry about your future.” … “He who hurries cannot walk with dignity.” … “There is a true and sincere friendship between you both.”

  1. I like to think of people as Snapple Caps and fortune cookie fortunes. They are a myriad of quirky facts and a delightful source of pearls of wisdom (at the very least, provide cause for introspection from time to time). Cherish caps and pieces of paper, you end up with a mess. Cherish people and they’ll help you through a mess. Happy Spring Mr. Cooper!

  2. Excellent point. (And where did the Snapple lady go??) We’ve had beautiful but windy weather here this weekend. The forecasters say it’s supposed to disappear after today’s 70s, but I hope it comes back soon. Happy spring to you too!
