Cool days never have the time

Via Cover Lay Down, Darlingside covers the Pumpkins’ 1979. The sound goes a ways from Corgan’s mid-autumn darkness and desperation. But the qualities seem to me still there, filtered through the recent temperatures, perfect and unseasonable, and sunshine, perfect and seasonable, the rays and their heat undone by the front that swung through, lonely in summer.
