CNN.com material After receiving my master's degree from Northwestern, I accepted a graduate fellowship with CNN.com and, later, a job. During my time there, I produced CNN and wire stories for the site in breaking news and daily situations, building the articles out with photos, fact boxes, related links, and interactive elements, like galleries and explainers. While most of my work was news producing, I managed to work in some original material. I started with an interview-based photo gallery in the CNN Center atrium, talking to visitors about the possible baseball strike, and continued from there. Sept. 6, 2002: Cities

Prior to the war's start, in addition to my Web producing, I also wrote introductions for the site of interviews conducted by CNN International's The Music Room. Credited introductions to interviews included those of Oasis and David Bowie. Uncredited introductions included Darren Hayes (formerly of Savage Garden), Britney Spears and Usher. |
